| Training sessions include activities designed to maximize participant engagement and to provide tools for discovery and practice. Such activities include: • Communication exercises which improve participants’ speaking, observing and listening skills. • Habit-breaking exercises through which participants develop new ways of responding and new modes of communication, and practice desirable behaviors. • Problem solving exercises which encourage participants to define, learn about, explain and model perceptions of and solutions to problems. • Interactive simulations through which participants enter scenes based on their own concerns and practice solutions for real life implementation. |
